Couples Therapy & Relationship Work

Supporting couples on a path
of intimacy & transformation

One of the greatest illusions about romantic partnerships in our modern world is the belief that our feelings of love for our beloved—combined with the length of time we’ve spent together—should naturally lead to a lasting bond filled with mutual happiness and fulfillment.

In truth, intimate partnerships are multi-dimensional, complex, mysterious, and continually evolving confluences of worlds. They can be places of profound love, joy, and comfort, as well as challenge, discovery and transformation. They ask for conscious, consistent, and meaningful participation if they are to become true vessels for embodied awakening, psycho-spiritual maturation, and a deeply nourishing togetherness.

When we told too tightly to fixed ideas of what a “successful” relationship should look like from the outside,  we risk losing touch with the deeper intelligence living within ourselves, within our beloved, and within what we call the "third body"— the living spirit and field of the relationship itself.

From our perspective, relationship work supports couples in developing the awareness and capacity to listen and respond to the living currents of change moving through each partner and the relationship itself — learning to participate more consciously in the wisdom inherent in the relationship's unfolding process.

Our Approach To Couples Therapy

& Relationship Work

We take a process-oriented, two-to-two approach to relationship work, with both of us accompanying both of you. This unique configuration allows us to hold greater awareness of each partner’s individual experience while also attending closely to the relationship as a living field in its own right.

Throughout the work, our attention may shift — at times centering on one partner’s experience, at times on the other’s, and at other moments on what is unfolding between you. Together, we listen for the patterns, tensions, longings, and possibilities emerging through the relational field, and for what the relationship itself may be asking or needing.

In this way, we support you in moving toward your shared intentions while also learning to follow the deeper intelligence emerging through your partnership.

The space we create together becomes a sanctuary for healing, discovery, and transformation — a place where both partners, and the relationship itself, can be seen, supported, and invited to grow.

"Alyona and Alexandre hold a safe container that is a wonderful mix of gentle acceptance and dynamic inquiry. Their embodied, soulful and playful approach really encourages a deeper understanding of the underlying issues, and there's something quite special about being mirrored by another couple in the therapeutic space. They helped us move through a major time of transition in our relationship, through which we feel more connected with ourselves and each other... very grateful for their gifts and presence!"
