7-Day Ceremonial Retreat & Pilgrimage Sacred Valley, Cusco, Peru January 8th-14th, 2027

“One of the ancient functions of pilgrimage is to wake us from our slumber.”
― Phil Cousineau, (From "The Art of Pilgrimage")

We are living in a pivotal moment of collective transformation.

As the 14th-century Incan prophecy of Pachakuti once foretold (literally, “to set the earth/time right”), we are amidst a time of intense metamorphosis, ushering in a new sense of equilibrium and profound individual & global spiritual awakening.

Through this initiatory passage, we are each being invited to be courageously immense:
to make the timeless pilgrimage into the inner well-spring of our Soul and the Heart of Creation,
and to creatively bring back the gifts of what we discover
as an offering to renew the Soul of the World.

If you are feeling the call to this journey we are speaking of,

we invite you to join us for Returning To Source.

Returning To Source is a ceremonial retreat and pilgrimage, summoning those seekers who feel called to remember and return to their essence, to their unique path and ancestral connection, and to the guiding wisdom of Earth and Spirit.

Returning To Source is an evocation of homecoming, an opportunity to nourish the roots of your being, fortify your spiritual connection, and deepen your relationship to what is most essential and meaningful in this period of your life.

Returning To Source is a call to slow down to the pace of Soul and enter into the practice of Deep-Listening - to leave the monotonous hum of everyday life, and to enter into the regenerative potency of sacred ritual, ceremony, and community.

If this speaks to something deep within you, we welcome you to apply

Ceremony • Pilgrimage • Soul-Work • Earth-Based Wisdom

The Sacred Work

The Arc of Our Retreat & Pilgrimage

Returning To Source honors the transformational potency of mystery, woven together with the careful curation of ritual process. Our journey together is intended to be a bridge between the healing journey and initiatory passages: transmitting both of a sense of rejuvenation (through embodiment, soul-centric, and contemplative practice) and re-awakening (through sacred ritual, ceremony, and pilgrimage).

Our container will offer you:

Andean Wisdom, Sacred-site Pilgrimage & Haywarikuy (offerings to Pachamama). Guided by our elder teachers from the Q’ero tradition, you will be introduced to the Andean cosmovision, including the sacred use of Mama Coca. Through ceremony, pilgrimage and offerings, you will have the opportunity to strengthen your ancestral connection and clarify your personal direction - moving through portals opened by the elders, the Apus, and the living land itself. We will open and close our time together in collaboration with the wisdom-keepers of this territory, receiving their blessings and guidance as we enter and complete our shared journey.

Psycho-spiritual, contemplative, and earth-based teachings & methods. To deepen your process of remembering, open new perspectives, and embody transformation in your life, we will engage in nourishing, regenerative, and integrative practices. Facilitators and guest teachers will offer teachings and guided group ritual spaces that support embodiment, connection, and the unfolding of remembrance.

Two Ceremonies with Sacred Earth Medicines. Held with attunement, care and skilled guidance, our team of facilitators will offer ceremonial experiences that will support you to connect deeper with the wisdom of your inner teacher, the earth, and your spiritual connection.

Plant baths & Tobacco work. We will engage with energetic practices, including tobacco cleansings and plant baths, to support greater clarity, protection, and openness as you move through your experience.

Nourishing Meals & Spaciousness for Deep-Listening. Nourishing, thoughtfully prepared meals will be offered daily to support your body and nervous system throughout the journey. There will also be spacious periods of rest and contemplation with yourself and the land, to listen deeply to, and receive, the medicine that is calling you.

Our Accomodation
The Source

The Source is an incredible private property surrounded by a stunning 100-foot waterfall, a tranquil river canyon, and majestic Andean peaks. This unique sanctuary and retreat centre sits underneath the sacred Apus of Pitusiray & Sawasiray, encompassed by the lush greenery of eucalyptus groves, fruit trees, and medicinal plants.

This one of a kind haven in the Sacred Valley, brings the best of both worlds together - offering a pristine ceremonial ground for sacred work, as well as world-class amenities to support our journey of healing and transformation together. At 10,000 feet above sea level, it offers breathtaking views, serene landscapes, and the chance to reconnect with nature in a setting steeped in Incan heritage.

We carefully selected this sanctuary because of the essence of beauty and tranquility that it exudes, in tandem with the intentionality carried by the stewards of this specific land.

We are very blessed to journey together here.

Our retreat space, The Source, comfortably hosts our community of 16 participants, including the facilitation team, with options of either a shared room (2 x people) or a private room (at an extra cost). Who This Retreat & Pilgrimage is for

Individuals seeking a deeper approach to healing beyond conventional and individualistic models – those who wish to journey inward in the presence of community, supported by the synergy of therapeutic, shamanic, and integrative methods within ceremonial and psycho-spiritual work.

Those longing for respite from the monotony of modern life and the demands of constant productivity, who feel drawn to restore balance by reconnecting with their inner landscape and the natural world. This experience offers time, space, and support to unwind, reflect, and reorient toward what truly nourishes.

✾ Those in transition — individuals at a crossroads, moving through a significant life change, or ready to deepen their commitment to healing and personal transformation. This offering is for those who recognize that meaningful change is not instantaneous, and who are willing to engage a thoughtful, embodied, and ongoing process rather than a quick solution.

✾ Those longing for sacred space, ritual, and ceremony — individuals who feel a genuine call toward the transformative paradigms of pilgrimage, rites of passage, and initiatory processes. This journey is for those who sense readiness to enter threshold spaces with reverence, humility, and a willingness to be shaped by the unknown.

Those called into service and greater purpose — individuals who understand their personal healing as an offering in devotion to the soul of the world, their ancestral lineages, the well-being of humanity, and the more-than-human realms.

Those drawn to ancestral healing and remembering — who wish to explore their relationship with lineage, bring care to intergenerational patterns, and cultivate a living connection with ancestral wisdom and support.

Those who carry a care for, and relationship with, Nature — individuals who feel drawn to sense the presence, power, and wisdom of the Peruvian land, and who long to listen, connect, and be held within the embrace of the natural world.

This retreat and pilgrimage is intentionally designed with moments of spaciousness — time to connect with yourself, the land, and fellow participants—balanced with deep, immersive practices and rituals that require presence and engagement. At times, participation may be asked of you even when you feel tired, activated, or would prefer to simply rest.

We wish to be clear that this is not a vacation or a conventional “wellness retreat.” Rather, it is an invitation into profound psycho-spiritual healing and transformation. As such, we ask you to sincerely check in with yourself about whether you feel emotionally, psychologically, and physically prepared—and genuinely interested—in the depth and richness that this retreat and pilgrimage will offer.

This journey may include moments of discomfort, activation, or challenge. It takes a willingness to remain present within a group field where triggers can arise, to meet what emerges with curiosity and care, and to widen your capacity to be with your lived experience as it unfolds.

We are calling in participants whose hearts are ready for full participation—both for their own healing, in service to the collective field we will be weaving together, and with the courage to keep showing up, even when it may feel challenging. Ultimately, this is the essence of ceremonial work and pilgrimage.

Meet the Facilitation Team

We are your main facilitators and guides for this entire retreat, ceremonial, and pilgrimage experience. We look forward to journeying with you.

Alyona Kobevka

Alyona Kobevka is the co-founder of A Healing Bridge, is an integrative psychotherapist, ritualist, and group facilitator who accompanies individuals, couples, and groups through psycho-spiritual awakenings, initiatory passages, and the ongoing work of healing and maturation. Originally from Ukraine - and having lived for many years in Canada and Australia - she has come to understand home and belonging not as a fixed place, but as a way of being rooted in soul, mystery, and the path of the heart. She has devoted most of her adult life to the helping professions, working in prisons and shelters with the homeless, supporting asylum seekers and refugees, and serving in academic settings. She was the Program Director of the Ecstatic Mysticism Initiatory Training for three years. With 15 years of experience in relationship with plant medicines, she understands her apprenticeship to diverse wisdom traditions and practices as a lifelong journey of personal transformation and loving service. She currently lives in the Sacred Valley in Peru with her beloved husband, Alexandre, their dear cocker spaniel, Nala, and their trickster cat, Hampi. You can find out more about Alyona here.

ALEXANDRE JODUN

Alexandre Jodun is an integrative psychotherapist, group facilitator, ritualist, and co-founder of A Healing Bridge, with a Mauritian-creole ancestral heritage. Within his eclectic background, he has apprenticed and trained within sacred medicine traditions, transpersonal & integrative paradigms, and afro-diasporic music traditions, for over a decade - bridging the worlds of mysticism and psycho-spiritual maturation. Alexandre has mentored and facilitated grief-work alongside Francis Weller, and learned from various wisdom keepers, elders, and indigenous communities  from around the world, including the Mitsogo/Babongo in Gabon, the A'i in Ecuador, the Wixárika in Mexico, and the Q'ero in Peru. He has been trained in Holistic Psychotherapy through the Metavision Institute, Psychedelic Therapy through AWE (NGO), and traditionally initiated in Gabon into Dissumba, the men's-only branch of Bwiti. Alexandre is a student of the way of Yagé, and is also an apprentice Tabaquero, working specifically with sacred Tobacco (Nicotiana Rustica) in the mamancunawa lineage. He is grateful to live in the Sacred Valley of Cusco, Peru, where he co-conspires sacred work with his dear wife, Alyona. You can find out more about Alexandre here.

Ramon Aleman

My name is Ramon Aleman. As a child (and now) I was gifted with a sensitivity, empathy, and ability to make others feel comfortable and understood. This innate propensity inspired a curiosity of humans, suffering, and the mind/heart from a young age. I believe my medicine lies in my grounding presence and loving gentleness – I have been described as a “gentle warrior.”  My path has led me to explore various forms of meditation and contemplation, attend Lakota Sundance, journey on a Pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, attend yoga school in India, and complete a 3 year program in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy with an emphasis on indigenous wisdom.  I am honored to have traveled to and learned from the plant medicine traditions in Gabon with the Babongo (Iboga) Mexico with the Wixárika (Peyote) and Ecuador with the Ai (Yagé).  I am most passionate about soul work, rites of passage, and the transformation of suffering into wisdom.

You can find out more about Ramon here.
