"We know the soul to be as ancient as the world. It lives in a stream of memory, often referred to as the ancestral world. Through the soul, our personal and collective dreams, and often prophecies, are transmitted. It is the stream into which we are born and out of which we live. It is the source of our individual striving — of the communities we form and of civilizations we create. Through the soul, we draw on ancestral memory to connect us to events before our birth and to divine the possibilities within our futures."
- Orland Bishop

In most conventional, modern trainings for coaches, therapists, or guides - let alone in our families of origin - it is rare to receive true teachings on how to access the ancestral wisdom and original inheritance that live in our very bone marrow. More often, we are taught techniques and interventions that overlook the deep roots of intelligence held within earth-honoring, shamanic, mystical, and kinship-oriented paradigms.

The ancestors and spirit-helpers, the transpersonal dimensions of reality, the ritual and animist technologies, and the old ways of knowing are often marginalized, diminished, or ignored entirely in contemporary culture.

Yet, as human beings, it is our connection with these sentient and vibrant unseen realms that nourishes us, infuses our lives with power and guidance, and opens new doors of perception. For many of us, as seekers or practitioners, it is increasingly common to meet people whose own experiences in these realms are numinous, non-rational, and complex, reaching far beyond what contemporary models can meaningfully address.

This is the context from which we have been inspired to create Remembering The Roots, and we welcome to you to join us for this journey of embodied learning and experiential practice.

As apprentices of various mystical traditions, and as trained therapists in integrative paradigms, we share from both our direct experiences and the core teachings entrusted to us by elders and wisdom-keepers from around the world. Together, we will co-create a space for enlivening learning, offering practices that allow you to drink deeply from these teachings and explore creative ways to bring them alive in your own life and in your path of service.

These practical foundations have supported our work with hundreds of people across diverse cultures, and we know through lived experience that they are essential for expanding our capacity as humans and facilitators to meet the complexities of this time.

We must remember the roots.

“I am so grateful to have been part of the Remembering The Roots program. Alyona and Alexandre weaved together such a warm container to begin an exploration of some rich teachings derived from wisdom traditions, process work and much more. My heart is full to the brim with gratitude. Feeling so touched and moved by the transmissions.

Much has shifted over these past months, my relationship with nature is becoming more intimate and close. I can experience the birds, the sea, the trees, the land through a beautiful new lens, as if I can more closely listen to their stories and feel their presence. And I also sense the guidance of my ancestors more and more each day. I can rely on this energy and care in any given moment. What a blessing.

Alyona and Alexandre are both ushering such necessary, impactful work in this world. It's hard to put into words the potency of their embodied wisdom and presence throughout the duration of the program. Their hearts and souls are truly breathing this work.
